Can I give to other charities?
Yes; however, we do charge non-partner charities a 10% fee for providing this service. To avoid this fee, you may wish to donate directly to that charity or consider giving to one of the six KECC partner charities. You may direct your gift to any 501(c)(3) organization by providing KECC with their address on the pledge form. To help hold down administrative costs, these gifts to other “write-in” charities must be at least a $50 cash gift or a payroll gift of $3 per paycheck.
During economic uncertainty, can I afford to give?
KECC charities provide services to help meet the educational, health and social needs of persons of all ages. That is why it is critical, despite the current economic uncertainty, that we continue to support the efforts of these agencies through the campaign. Through a modest payroll deduction, your commitment to helping others will ensure that all Kentucky families continue to have the opportunity to live happy, healthy lives, even during tough times. We must realize that a year in which it might feel more difficult to help others is precisely the year that help is needed most.
